Iceland Series: Solfar, the Sun Voyager
Close to the Harpa you will find one of Reykjavik’s most popular tourist attractions: Solfar, the Sun Voyager.
Solfar is a pretty neat statue, commemorating the 200th anniversary of the city of Reykjavik. Unlike many tourists believe, it has not much to do with the advent of Vikings, who inhabited Iceland, but it’s still a nice twist to the story.
Can wait to see this! I will be visiting in June
